March Music Schedule

Excited to bring local and regional talent to the brewery in March!  This Friday night music series will kick off on Friday, March 1st with Kenny Roby.
March 1st 7pm, Kenny Roby,

Kenny Roby is a North Carolina-based singer-songwriter. He’s the former lead singer of 6 String Drag, which he formed with old friend bassist Rob Keller in the early 1990s and became one of the main bands of the era’s Americana movement.

March  15th 7pm, Holland Bros
When NC twin brothers Mark and Michael Holland sing harmony, they get your attention. The Holland’s sound is rooted in old-time country & country blues.
March 22nd 7pm, Jess Klien
The New York Times calls Jess Klein “A songwriter with a voice of unblinking tenacity.”  Over two decades and 11 albums, Klein has built a powerfully personal body of work that reflects an instinctive emotional insight, an organic sense of introspection and an unshakable social conscience. Her newest release, Back to My Green explores what it means to maintain hopefulness in America in 2019.  It also reflects a bevy of changes in Klein’s personal life, including a new marriage to fellow songwriter Mike June and a cross-country move from the “Live Music Capital” of Austin, TX to rural North Carolina.

March 29th 7pm, Ally J
“Music is what brings me joy. Beginning with that first note and seeing someone in the crowd close their eyes and vibe with you is a priceless feeling. I’m a ball of nerves every single time I get on stage, but that connection-even if I only make one; that realization that I don’t know that particular person, but we know each other through the lyrics I’m singing, is magic.”

The Rainforest Alliance certification promotes decent living and working conditions, gender equality, and access to education for children within the farming community.

The coffee is cultivated under shade (Inga), in a volcanic soil, on hillsides with wavy topography, between 2,500 and 4,000 feet above sea level. It is harvested from September to February and its process carefully by hand. The coffee process at Finca Oná is something very special, for Oná it is an art to plant his coffee. The whole process is worked from the seed to the gold coffee that is carefully selected and processed. The varieties that are cultivated are: Arabico Bourbon and Caturra depending on the height in the farm where the planting takes place.
